Question One Superman Down, Three to Go...

since the news completely changed, making a new thread makes sense, anyway... Josh Hartnett is now gone.. thank god...

    heres the old thread

Longtime contender Josh Hartnett has finally, officially opted out of the Superman casting race, claims The Hollywood Reporter. Hartnett reportedly tested for the role but wouldn't concede to the three-picture committment that Warner Brothers wants. Another contender, Ashton Kutcher, has also moved on, according to the rumor mill.

THR says the final "Big Three" contenders for the role of Superman are Brendan Fraser (The Mummy), Paul Walker (The Fast and the Furious) and relative unknown Matthew Bomer. Bomer is best known for his work on such soaps as Guiding Light and All My Children.

so who will it be, make your vote ...

    Brendan Fraser

    Matthew Bomer

    Paul Walker

i voted for the unknown guy... and pls noooo Brendan Fraser !

well...based on acting ability, i might say Fraser just because he can be versatile in his roles.however he does not have the look to play a mild-mannered Clark Kent or the charisma to play the Man of Steel either. both matthew boner and paul walker just don't seem to have the look either and i am not too familar with their acting abilites (except for walker who was ok in F&F). so my vote was for none. they really need to rethink this one alot just because superman is legendary. he is one of the few superheros that just stands above everyone else...an icon. i just can not think of someone who could do this role justice. IMO, christopher reeve was almost perfect for this role.

stop making superman movies. Its such a boring charcter. ALOT of comic characters that got way more movie potential.

I agree with Mischa on Christian Bale but since he was their I went for Fraser. The film needs someone with experience.

yeah...it's known as a "Superman" suspension. that is probably why it came up in a search.
BTW, that is not as painful as it looks...

I think Brendan Frazer is too silly to do the Superman part. As for Paul Walker, he doesn't look quite right.

Of the three, I'd vote for the unknown.
If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.
