Question best love scene/question about loves scenes in movies...

Do actors actually do it when there’s a love scene in a movie? I mean in commercial mainstream movies and not porn. So all these married actors with family do it with other actors when a scene requires some "love" or its all fake or "simulated" love ?

I ask this question after watching BULLY in which there was so many "pumping scenes" involving teens and i was wondering if it's only "simulated" or for real.

We all know that violence or killing in movies are all fake, -fake blood, fake guns..etc., ..is it the same case with movie love scenes?

    --------------
and another thing, what is your favorite movie love scene?
    old thread

mine would be the love scene
    From Here to Eternity

its more of a kiss scene...

but best love seen that i liked would be from "Meet Joe Black" :big grin:

most crazy love scene i have seen would be from Crash 1996 http://us.imdb.com/Title?0115964

they make love after or during they have a car accident

I Think it is all fake acting ...
And when it looks real that is when a good actor plays good

They're fake to an extent. Most scenes u can't see anything so they don't do anything. Others with maybe less known actresses could be real. fire on the Amazon with Sandra BUllock as well as Desperado with Salma HAyek looked pretty real. Don't have a favorite though. My girlfriend's favorite is the scene from Titanic (HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH).

Talking It's all good acting...nothing more.

    Those scenes are all FAKE!!!

In that movie 3000 Miles to Grace Land.

When Kurt Russel's tounge was on Courtney Cox's nipple...she got nothing out of that...it was just pure acting. No one was stimulated.

And in Basic Instinct...when Michael Douglas's mouth and tounge was all over Sharon Stone's nipples...she did not feel anything either...it was just acting.

How do you know they faked it?

I read an article once about the love scene in Reindeer games with Charlize Theron and Ben Aflek. That was supposedly a pretty real scene, though it looked just like any other scene to me. Anyways, Ben said that to do that scene, he was wearing only one article of clothing. It was two words, the second one being "sock". The first word rhymed with the second...

I'm fairly certain that all mainstream love scenes are fake. Otherwise it would be indecent exposure in a public place, and people could go to jail.
If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.

It's not unkown for a mainstream film to have the actors actually do the deed on set, it's just very rare and when it does happen they still have to abide by the same rules to avoid it being classified as XXX porn. I can't remember the films title now but there was one film thwat caused a lot of controvery because of it's unsimulated sex scenes, and people claimed it was nothing more than porn. The acctress defended herself by talking about beuty and art and other such crap.

id guess is simulated .. could you imagine what would happen if there was cock up (pardon the pun).. and the actress got pregnant?!?! the legal issues would be humungous!

don't they get stimulated from the simulation ? :big grin: ... i mean, certainly some actors will get hard ons and so on....

if they do it really, it should not be illegal at all, why should it be? They can always have is done closed doors, and adult films are being sot all the time with out any problems.... the same should be applied on commercial movies...

    eyes wide shut:
we see tom cruise making out with nicole kidman, we see nicole kidman partially naked, but we never see them having sex. there are scenes in a house with people having sex in all different kinds of manners, but this section of the movie lasts for approximately 5 minutes at the most, and the north american version has digital figures obscuring parts of the shots. don't see what the big controversy is there

real sex scenes aren't indecent exposure, otherwise cops would come into your house and arrest you ever time you tried to have sex. to my knowledge, there haven't been any real sex scenes in mainstream films, real sex scenes implying that the act of sexual intercourse was performed during filming

generally speaking if you don't see any sexual organs in the scene, then the scene was filmed fake. you can't fake something with your body like that unless you're using animatronics or something, which i don't want to get into

actors definetly do have fun filming sex scenes (sometimes it can be uncomfortable for them), and their arousal may or may not be a result of the other person in the sex scene. we just don't know

I think the most realistic love scene I've seen in a mainstream Hollywood movie was in The Getaway with Kim Basigner and Alec Baldwin. They were married at the time and I swear they were really doing it. I guess another one would be Carre Otis and Mickey Rourke in Wild Orchid. Mind you I think that movie might be considered soft porn.

As far as favourite love scene goes, I'm not sure I have one.
You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

If there's stimulation from the simulation, fine, if there isn't, also fine. I really don't give a **** if the stars are getting off from it... As for the best love scene... hmm... The thomas Crown Affair wasn't bad.

my most fave love scene would have to be from the movie "The Blue Lagoon"

i love everything about that movie... Christopher Atkins and Brooke Shields did really good acting. i do think it's fake like all the other movies. there were also other sweet scenes... and they're both always naked throughout the movie! :big grin:

the most love scene that looks real would have to be from the movie "Monster's Ball" dang!!!!! they're really doing it!
