Is GREEN LANTERN the movie in production???

Hiya everyone!!!

Back when Spiderman the movie was released, I heard that Warner Brothers was going to make a big budgeted film adaption of "GREEN LANTERN." But since then, I haven't heard anything else about it, thus I figured the project had died.

However, yesterday, a person told me that they heard a Green Lantern movie was being made, based on Alan Scott's GL. And that Warner Brothers had purchased the domain name (www.greenlanternthemovie.com) When I got home, I tried that link, and sure enogh, Warner Brothers definitely owns it.

Can anyone confirm that a Green Lantern movie is being made, or will be made??? Maybe some scripts or something... Hal Jordan's Green Lantern is one of my all time favorite comic characters. So I think a GL movie would be great, even if it is with Alan Scott. Just as long as they don't use Kyle. :big grin:

AWESOME!!! I really hope this is true....

but not Alan Scott's GL......at least Hal Jordan.....I'd much prefer a Hal Jordan or Kyle Rayner...hell, a Guy Gardner over Alan Scott..
