Finally had the time this evening and went to see Alien Vs Predator.

Contrary to the negative comments I've heard from this Forum, I actually enjoyed this little big fan movie. If you never consider this as an Alien prequel (sci-fi horror A-movie) and perhaps as a Predator sequel (sci-fi action B-movie), it's actually not bad at all, at least to amuse yourself on a Friday evening.

Of course there're lotsa cheese in this one, but come on. You know what you're getting when you bought the tickets. So might as well enjoy it. I don't think it needs more blood and gore, or graphic scenes in it. (Probably cos I grew up watching Predator 1 & 2 on TV with all the gory scene cut.) Or maybe cos I'm getting old.

    Man on Fire: 4 / 5

Great film but found the ending to be a little depressing.

I saw Shark Tale today. Just not as funny as Shrek.

finally saw Collateral...beautifully shot movie...it was like watching a Tim Burton Batman movie...a visually stunning movie.

Foxx was chewing up the screen...the plot kinda fell flat in the last act...which is unfortunate since the set up was awesome.

Diverse soundtrack, too. Lots of fun.

I watched Team America on... Friday maybe.
It was pretty funny, some good songs, and a lot of moments where your worried that you might wet yourself.

    Walking Tall - 2.5 / 5

I haven't seen the original so I can't compare this version but it wasn't all that bad.
