Alone in the Dark (2005) 2.5/5

Best of the "Worst movies" lately....I know that this is on a #39 place of IMDB 100 bottom movies, but this is my guilty pleasure

You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

Yeah but that is what's so great about it. The scene in the diner with the camera going around the table (ala Res. Dogs) is classic QT!

That's one of the main reasons why I like Kill Bill Vol 2. over Vol 1. is the dialog. Not many people can write dialog like QT.

I watched the screener of this movie last night and I have to ask:

"why even bother making a remake of a classic cult movie?"

I just watched the japanese movie Azumi. Pretty cool.

I didn't know it was based on a comic

    O yes guys...

Sunshine - 5/5 or even 0.5 more than this!

Fantastic movie! Great science-fiction. One of the best sci-fi movies for me. Once again Danny and the cast shows his quality.

    Definitely worth seeing!

    Superman Returns - 2 / 5

Never been a big fan of Superman so I didn't really get into this at all. Found it kind of slow and even boring, especially at the end. Spacey did a great job, as usual, and even Routh did a good job and staying close to Reeve's version of the character. It was nice to keep the main theme and use hints of the love theme from Williams' original score.

The thing that's most upsetting was the fact that Singer didn't do X-Men 3 in order to do this and in the end all we ended up with are 2 bad movies.
