I saw it at the $1 theater on 75 cents All Day Tuesday so walking out will be easy but it turned out to be not so.

    I gave it 4/5 !!

I hope you stayed til the end of the credits!!
I wish I had seen it in the theater. I saw it at home. Yes, I watched all the way thru the end ,even til the extra scene where the pilot/neighbor is at the airport heading to his flight.

Yet you make me curious. Fortunately I still have the disc here. I'll watch after the credits are over.

Go-ji-jeon aka The Front Line (2011)

    4.5/5

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2007387/

The best Korean War film out of South Korea since South Korea's 2004 Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War

This movie is South Korea's submission to the 2012 Academy Awards for Best Foreign Film

There hasn't been too many movies made about the Korean War and some of them are not very good; I highly recommend this one!!

Forces Spéciales aka Special Forces (2011)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1656192/

    4/5

    unlike Hollywood movies of this kind (The Expendables) where the emphasis is on flashy, over the top action and big explosions and the good guys never die even when being shot at at point blank range;

this film is realistic and extremely emotional without the Hollywood BS!!

Flammen & Citronen aka Flame and Citron (2008)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0920458/

    4.5/5

a riveting story about the Denmark resistance in World War 2 and how you can't trust anyone in wartime, even your closest friends!!

This is only the 2nd film I've seen Mads Mikkelsen in, the first one being Casino Royale.

What else has he done that's worth watching?

If you use IMDB, you will see, he is a very busy actor.

    Supporting Actor:
    - King Arthur
    - Clash of the Titans
    - The Three Musketees (2011)
    - Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself

But his european movies, lead actor, are much better:
    - Pusher Trilogy
    - Flickering Lights
    - The Green Butchers
    - Adam's Apples (amazing great )
    - Exit
    - Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky
    - The Door
    - Valhalla Rising (from the director of Drive) --> check for trailer on Apple

Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985)

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089208/

fun 80s movie with a 19 year old Sarah Jessica Parker, a 20 year old Helen Hunt, a 13 year old Shannen Doherty and if you watch it carefully, you will see cameo appearances by 19 year old Robert Downey Jr. (who was dating Sarah at the time in real life) and 22 year old Gina Gershon

The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957)

    5/5

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0050212/

It's easy to see why this film won Best Picture in 1958.

Just like the final dialogue at the end of the film, there is only one word to describe this movie: MADNESS!

Definitely a study of Human character when faced with captivity and freedom in War, the line between right and wrong, honor and dishonor become blurred to the point of Madness!!

    No Strings Attached (2011)

    starring Natalie Portman

    3.75/5

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1411238/

    compared to 2 other movies I watched in the past 2 months, of the same genre with similar stories, Friends With Benefits with Mila Kunis and Love And Other Drugs with Anne Hathaway;

    I enjoyed this one more!!

Between Mila and Anne and Natalie, I take Natalie first!!

Men of the Fighting Lady (1954)

    4.5/5

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047230/

realistic Korean War movie without the romantic subplots usually seen in war movies - based on a story by James Michener!!

    4/5

the 132 min Director's Cut never shown in Theater

this is my first complete viewing of this film

before today, I've seen bits and pieces of it on TV, edited and cut

I am sorry to say but I was not scared, shocked, disgusted, nauseated one bit by this film

I guess I've seen too many horror films and too much real life blood and gore in my lifetime
