    Question I have some questions.

Q1) I have two classics trailers Jean might be interested in (both are PAL):

Once Upon A Time In America (DVD, needs editing)
    Deep Impact teaser (VHS)

Problem is, I don't have a capture card. I want to give them but I can't. Is there any other way to get them on your computer?

Q2) What is the difference between MPEG and QuickTime (and more importantly, which has better picture and sound quality)

Q3) How do I save avi (Window Media), mpeg and QuickTime to my hard drive?

Q4) Jean, could you be able to search for Windows Media files like you did MPEG files, please?

    Thanks!

Movie list is primarily a QuickTime site, most of the trailers we post here are in using the Sorenso 3 codec which QuickTime uses.

it is obviously better than mpeg(1) coz QuickTime can compress much better and any bitrate or resolution can be used. We usually use mp3 audio on these QT trailers

i have the DEEP IMPACT teaser, and JP already has it, the teaser is on the PAL DVD of that movie and also has the trailer which i think has better quality than what JP posted.

Q3) How do I save avi (Window Media), mpeg and QuickTime to my hard drive?

i dont exactly understand what u mean, u want to make WMV video files or simply save them?

try reading the FAQ (link is on my sig) some users have made some instructions on how to make QT or wmv files

just go to the trailers posted here at the forums and most of them have the direct links, simply right click on the link and "save target as"...
