BTW: it plays perfectly in QT & in MPC (Media Player Classic)
    (using P4 2.0, 512 MB RAM).

yes, dvd has a resolution of 720x576 (PAL) or 720x480 (NTSC).
superbit has the same resolution, only a higher bitrate.

Hmm, someone must have had the 2000 master to encode a 720p version, and it doesn't sound like a WB encode!!

Poor tisoy, if he's around he'll be going nuts with the HDTV version.

121MB... Hmmm... imagine DLing that with a 56k modem... now imagine... I'm actually doing so...

Estimated DLing time: 21 hours 20 mintues 29 seconds.

    Well... at least not days...

A warning though, according to Microsoft, "for an optimal experience we recommend systems of at least a 2.53 GHz Intel or AMD Athlon XP 2200+ and an AGP4x based NVIDIA or ATI video adapter card with at least 32 MB of RAM".

I didn't try this one, but other 720p samples from Microsoft ran smooth on my 1.4 GHz Intel with Radeon 8500 128 MB.
