Go straight to Wes Craven's New Nightmare... while you can.
Skip 2-6, watch them after New Nightmare... if you're interested. (Those are for die-hard Freddy freaks only.)

Yes, you didn't listen to editman. WATCH WES CRAVEN'S NEW NIGHTMARE!
I don't know how to describe it, but I'd go as far as saying Wes Craven's New Nightmare is one of the greatest films in not only horror but cinema itself! There is a complete overhearing metaphor that captures evil itself, and shows us where it must remain. (There is also an ongoing thing that actually points the finger right at the MPAA, hehe
It is also the ultimate paradox in storytelling. It wouldn't, shouldn't, and can't work, but does in everyway, because of the way Wes Craven crafted it. I myself haven't seen any other film with a story so caught up in a paradoxed loop, and work all the same.
I'm not going to say anything else. SEE IT DAMN YOU!Last edited by Guiboche; 09-17-2003 at 12:24 AM.

hmm ok your right in some ways there Guiboche but only seening Wes Craven's New Nightmare only and not seening the rest come on if you where new too the Nightmare Series seening 1 will not do you got to see all of them then say what you think

I've seen all the nightmare films, and if you watch the first film, and skip 2-6, the story still makes absolutely 100% sense (if what I said just made any sense
And I suggest to everyone to see Nightmare 1 and then skip to Wes Craven's New Nightmare. New Nightmare is so good it shattered the relevance of all the sequals behind it.Last edited by Guiboche; 09-17-2003 at 01:51 AM.
