b) the battle of stirling in braveheart
c) the opening scene in house on haunted hill

The rape was not fun to watch, but... Definitely the fire extinguisher scene! That was BRUTAL!

number 2 would be the climax in requiem for a dream

the fire extinguisher scene wasn't really disturbing to me. i guess if the movie was played in chronical order it would have a greater impact after already seeing the rape.

Yeah, that was pretty disturbing. But have you seen the uncut version? It recently became available in Australia. The US version of that scene has her just inserting the blade into her wrist, the uncut version has her slicing her arm wide open all the way up. It made me kinda upset. Thats proabaly fouth on my list after the ones mentioned above.

anyway its obvious that most have not seen IRREVERSIBLE (and its better that way) ...

heres a screeny of the guy being smashed to death, and behind these scene u see people jacking off, (in a sex club i think) .. thats how *****ed this movie is...



and here is Monica Bellucci(she is the french lady in Matrix 2) being raped for 10 mins, and its really 10 mins !!!.. imagine that in that in theatres.. big screen..
after this scene she is also beaten up badly..



now my question is how the hell did they make that rape scene? did they act it out for real? coz it seemed to real or some camera trick?

whoa... the version i saw simply shows her on the tub .. all red... i never saw the cutting .. damn my version must have been very CUT

they shot the 9 minutes numerous times, but i read somewhere on the net that gaspar noe, the director, recently said during a press conference that he "morphed" together segments from each take of the rape. even monica bellucci didn't see that it wasn't one complete shot that was used in the final film, although she had to repeat it numerous times for the whole 9 minutes. if you don't know that you would never guess, the film has fantastic special effects. even the dick of the rapist isn't there, it's completely cgi.

For some reason I find that a very amusing use of CGI. (Porn stars of the future may actually be virgins!)

On a serious note....I think I might want to avoid that film. I don't think I'd want to see that happen to poor Monica Bellucci.

i'm gonna watch IRRÉVERSIBLE later this evening even i know that it will probatly hurt me seeing monica bellucci getting raped. but somehow that's why i like her so much, she plays parts normal actress wouldn't do.
