Alien vs. Predator
This thread is for all of you who thought there was nothing better in recent (or not so) sci fi horror than the feeling of absolute terror that the creatures of Alien and Predator have on everyone. Predator and Aliens may just be the best of their kind, full of guns, gore, and glory. So let's see some guesses on just who is gonna kick who's ***.
Please also post all news WITH SPOILERS(!!!) regarding this upcoming film

Well the Aliens are by far the best science fiction monster, and the fact that both species are spread out widely accros the universe means that there can be a winner, the question is which species. In the books it's always The Predators, because there technology and cunning is much better than the aliens, however the books also mention that occasionally an entire party of Predators have lost due to the Aliens sheer numbers.

Draw, I'd say.

Judge Dredd...because I'm reading Dredd vs. Aliens comics now.

I would love to say Aliens. I agree with Carl that they are the coolest sci fi monsters. They're strong enough to peel back armored plating, they're much much faster than any other land animals (at least for short distances), they have a great attack-from-beyond-the-grave (acid spray), they can impregnate any species, they act in the best interest of their hive (self-sacrifice, unlike predators who are competitive), and best of all they tend to come with all their friends behind them.
But if you mean a 1v1 match alien vs predator, I'd have to say the predator. At least in open spaces. With their cloaking and detection technology, they should be able to snipe off just about anything from long range. If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.

Where's Bishop in the poll, or whichever character Lance Henrikson's gonna play in AvP!!?
Anyway... too early for a speculation... I'll wait for the next trailer.
