Christopher Reeve to Direct Animated Film

Newark, New Jersey-based IDT Entertainment said it has engaged Reeve, who now divides his time between directing film projects and working for a foundation that bears his name, to oversee production for his first animated film.

The film will be an urban fable set in the 1930s and is expected to be completed in early 2005.

Reeve will be responsible for everything from character development, casting and set design through animation, lighting, texturing and post-production, said a spokesman for IDT Entertainment, an arm of Newark, IDT Corp., a telecommunications firm.

I hope this works out for him.
