QT trailers not working in TMPGEnc ?

I occasionally use TMPGEnc to transform a QT trailer into an svcd-ready mpeg that I can use to make a trailer svcd compilation for my dvd player.

But in a few cases TMPGEnc refuses to open the triler, says it's unsupported. Most recent case: the trailer for Highwaymen from Apple's site.

Does anyone have any idea why TMPGEnc refuses to accept this one?

coz it actually does not read QT files out of the box, u need the QT plug in

TMP only reads avi files that have their codecs installed in the system, or "frameserved" video files via virtualdub or dvd2avi

I know that, hence I said "in a few cases". I've just made three SVCDs of QT2SVCD trailers, from all kinds of sources, that's why I'm so baffled as to why it isn't opening this particular one.
