    LOL!

...and this is just pissing me off

I love "ER" and they're just taking the fallout for Janet

Nervous NBC edits 'ER' breast shot LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Janet Jackson's revealing Super Bowl halftime moment has created fallout for "ER," with NBC removing a glimpse of an elderly patient's breast in Thursday's episode. The network said Wednesday it had "unfortunately concluded that the atmosphere created by this week's events has made it too difficult for many of our affiliates to air this shot."

from 5 seconds to 5 minutes so they can remove offensive material
WHAT? How offensive is offensive material?

Last year's Micheal Moore speach, is that offensive? It certainly has to be, because they seemed not pleased about it. Does that mean they would remove something similar this year?
It is not enough 'I succeed'. Everyone else must fail.

And what if some 'offensive' materials actually last for longer than 5 minutes? Would there be black in between?...

hehe, i thought about that too. what if they can't get somebody off the stage for 5 minutes?
does this mean everyone afterwards can curse how they want and show what they want?

i guess michael moore's speech would have been rated too offensive to air.

    hail to censorship

While I don't think they should go this far, this is all business

These TV shows and awards don't want to face the same problems as JAnet Jackson is facing, they choose to censor some stuff because they believe it will be bad for them. It's as simple as that.

With the editing of inappropriate material during the grammy broadcast we may end up with a bunch of editers getting beaten up Russell Crowe style, if you get my meaning.

It's time like this editman's glad he's not (yet) working in Hollywood, or any mainstream media, or working with Russell Crowe, cos I won't get beaten up by Rusty for doing my job, hehehe...

    (Russell beats up an editor)
EDITOR: Sorry, Russell, you can't sing The Hills Are Alive!
    (THAWK!)

Seriously, though, no one cares over here. Maybe we are perverts. Or maybe it's your TV stations OVER-REACTING! Do they have 5 year olds in charge? Woah! It's a boob! It not like anyone hasen't seen that before! And guess what Janet was promoting - her new single.

    lol, i don't think that's pervert.
i don't know about the uk, but at least here in germany there are boobs in commercials shown in the afternoon.
i don't know what's so wrong with that, do american tv stations think children could get sexually disturbed by seeing a naked woman? it's not like justin timberlake fu**ed janet jackson on stage.

I don't think they should show breasts during daytime TV because I don't know, the kids get stressed out or something I odn't know, but why would we have rated R and so on if we could see it on TV anytime. I think kids should learn about it from stolen Playboy magazines and so on, not from mainstream media
