    Which is why i loved Police Story 1 and 2 loads!! (dont recall Supercop being that memorable as the first two) but heres hopeing that this movie will be some good ****! I reckon Police Story 4 woulda made a better title for the movie lolz

    As I stated in another thread, this is NOT a sequel. It has nothing to do with the Golden Harvest 'Police Story' series.

    It's just another Jackie Chan movie in which he plays a cop with a title that fools people to think it is a sequel/remake.

    the title of the film is kinda lame, i am sure they could have come with somethin' more innovative, but the teaser is awesome !! i will surely get this one on dvd whenever it comes out !!

    The Movie has a very lame title, but overall the movie has a good look, finally i hope chan can deliver a huge hit after all these years, besides, i hope 80 days is also as cool as it's trailer looks.

    Synopsis:
    Wing ˇ]Jackie Chanˇ^ is the Hong Kong police's resident supercop. He's the best of the best, cracking every case he handles in record time. Fung ˇ]Nicholas Tseˇ^ is a rebel without a pause, a typically disaffected but street-smart Hong Kong youth who wastes his life in videogame arcades. Talk is cheap, and no one talks cheaper than Fung.Due to his family's criminal background, it seems that Fung can never become a police officer, and follow in the footsteps of Wing, his all-time idol.Finally, Fung gets the chance to realise his goal of becoming a detective.     Who said it isn't!? - see subject of this thread.

    My previous comment was about the current waning popularity of Jackie Chan (both in Asia and internationally) and the way that he's making a serious police drama (and hoping it may be a hit) was similar to the situation around the time he made 'Police Story' in 1986, after his attempt of becoming a Hollywood star around 1983-85 was unsuccessful.
