    Alice in Wonderland (2010)

Cast: Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Sheen, Matt Lucas, Crispin Glover, Stephen Fry, Alan Rickman

    The Film

From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure "Alice in Wonderland," a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. Johnny Depp stars as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen's reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Crispin Glover; Linda Woolverton wrote the screenplay. Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll's beloved "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) and "Through the Looking-Glass" (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history, "Alice in Wonderland" comes to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™ on March 5, 2010.

That's not what I'm saying. If you recall, the last time Disney did Alice in Wonderland it was in 1951. That previous film was animated, but it was so poorly written (especially the tacked-on "it was all a dream" cop-out ending) and had such bad voice acting that it sucked. This looks a hell of a lot better than that, especially since, 91. Tim Burton, who is a PERFECT choice to adapt this, is directing, and (2. He's doing this as a sequel with a much older Alice, which is a GENUS move on his part.

I REALLY can't wait to see this film. I'm a huge fan when it comes to the Lewis Carroll book, which is why I absolutely HATE the 1951 film. This new one looks just as faithful as the 1999 tv movie with Whoopi Goldburg as the Cheshire Cat (except for that last bit).

Looks like IGN have taken it down for the time being. It was still up for me an hour ago but now it's down. Luckily only for half a day or so, makes you wonder if it was worth taking down

    Reported from FirstShowing.net

IGN had accidentally posted the teaser trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland early. It was an accident, as Disney had alerted us yesterday that the trailer wouldn't be online until tomorrow afternoon in connection with their Facebook promo. Of course, IGN smartened up and removed the trailer

The bunny is cute and, weirdly, I found Crispin Glover hot as the Knave of Hearts.
Is it really him? Why he looks more like Spade?
