    West Side Story M2TS Encodes

I think there's something wrong with these rips. The first trailer only plays the first minute...

There was nothing wrong with the encodes when they were posted, so unless something got corrupted when they got moved, they should be fine.
I checked the file sizes and they appear correct.

As a note, if you are using the new VLC player 2.1.0, that might be your problem, I had to fallback to 2.0.8 because of playback issues with some M2TS encodes.

PS: No need to quote entire posts, a simple title, short problem description. with a link to the post is more than sufficient.

I can't see through walls, but I can kick your ass.

Thanks. I've tried putting it through VLC and Handbrake and I'm still getting only the first minute. I'll try a different version of VLC...

I DL'ed the first trailer and it works fine, so the encode is fine.

Hmm. I tried it in VLC 2.0.8. It just stops at the 1:06 mark...Any idea why it might not be working for me? Or another program I can try?

Sorry, I don't mind helping out, but my Crystal Ball is out of order.
The only thing I can suggest is for you to get someone else to DL the encode and see if they have the same problem, I asked someone on my side to help, and if it happens I will let you know the results, I suggest you try and do the same.

Just had someone else DL the first trailer, worked fine with both VLC and MplayerX, I have no idea what OS you're running, but I would start by making sure you have all the latest drivers, and maybe do a little housekeeping, you might have some conflicting entries and such.
