Will is probably like Jim Carrey or Adam Sandler ~10 years ago.

People who like his comedy can't get enough of him, and those who don't can't get sick enough of him.

Thing is, Will Farrell's even more prolific than Jim Carrey back then. In the past few years, he has 3-4 movies every year came out (except last year, according to the IMDB). It's just that most films he's in are B comedies, so I guess he's still cashing in his 'popularity' and hasn't got to the stage where he's deliberately avoiding comedies to prove that he has a wider range as an actor, like Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler did.
