I was at superherohype.com and they had an interesting article about the secret that Tom Welling had with the WB...maybe it's not for Superman...but for a cameo in the world of gotham...

It would be awesome if Tom got both roles. It would be a nice tie-in and lead up to Batman V. Superman if both actors meet each other in the first Batman movie. It would be really cool to have Bale in the Superman movie.

Thankfully this rumor has been debunked. I don't want the craptastic Welling getting anywhere near BB. It would cause huge continuity problems when whoever plays Superman in the new Superman movies looks nothing like the Superman from BB.
