Does smell like a PG Christian-friendly version (pun intended) with all violence toned down, so parents can take their kid to see JC died for all for us.

I just don't buy it. Why would they remove the textures from the official logo, like in the official website?

Also, WHOISing the domain, thepassionrecut.com, yeilds this. The owner of the domain is Douglas Berry, which is not only different from thepassionofthechrist.com's registrar, but resides in the UK rather than the US as well.

And he's using 1and1.com for the hosting. Icon couldn't be that cheap!!
