Some of the set pictures show Keira, wearing tiny white T-shirt practicing fight scenes with stuntmen and fellow actors on the island of St Vincent, where the film is set. The sequel brings back most of the main cast starring including Johnny Depp, and Orlando Bloom. Film is due out Summer 2006.

The third film is due out in 2007.

no... its not that at all. i actually liked the first one. the SFX of the pirates were awesome. but no movie can even dare to compare with star wars. it is the best movie ever....in fact, i am going to highjack this thread and just talk about star wars.

opps...sorry. had a germanfinne moment there. forgive me.

anyway, i liked the first one. i just have a problem with a 90lb girl being able to fend off two 200+lb men with swords. i know its a movie and the reality factor gets thrown out the window on most movies, so its not that. i just can't see keira pulling off the "strong woman" image. sigorney weaver in aliens was strong. demi moore in gi jane was strong. keira knightly in POTC2 isn't. maybe becuase i know my 3 yr old son can kick her butt (as he weighs more than her)...

i'll keep watching the updates for this and probably will see it when it comes out. but i am going to be a little pessimistic about it.

Will Keith Richards be in the film?

JD: It's looking very good. I've talk to Keith about it and he's been super sweet and keen to do it and it's looking very good. We are just hoping that we can work out the dates with the Stones tour and everything but if that happens, you talk about a dream come true. Get to be a pirate with Keith Richards? I think a sequel to this movie may be a bit much. It was a good movie, but I don't see how it could be extended into another part. From a writer's perspective it seems more like a "ride on the tailcoats of our successful film to get some more money" type of film.

you seem to forget that the the whole reason sequels get done in the first place. it is all about the mighty dollar.
