    Year of the Superhero

Well, I think with the sad arrival of the Fantastic Four it's officially over.

Last year on June 30 Spider-Man 2 was released.
    Then in November The Incredibles.
Finally, on June 15, 2005: Batman Begins.

It's amazing when you think about it. Three awesome superhero movies released within a year of each other. In fact, I think in the past year X2 has moved from being my favorite superhero movie to #4 on my list.

Yeah, sure there's still Superman Returns on deck for next summer... but honestly, though I'm sure it will be good... I doubt it will compare to any of the three movies released in the past year.

What do you think? Are these three going to stand the test of time... or am I just getting caught up in the hype?

I'm thinking June 30, 2004 - June 30, 2005 was The Year of the Superhero Movie.

Elektra was another one this year. There are many hero movies coming out every year. Would you say Constantine is one? Wouldn't actually call him a hero since he is just like us. What about Blade3?

Tho, I agree. There have been some really good superhero movies this year. I've seen Fantastic Four at the Premiere and it was extremely fun. Just what I was expecting.

I have to agree, this was the year of the Superhero.
Wwe still have as, You said, Superman Returns to look forward to.
    And don't forget about Ghostrider.
I'm pretty sure that should be good.
