    QT7 Problem - Jerky Picture

Whenever I watch a trailer made for QT7 I usually end up having a jerky picture, like it's a slow processor or something. I'm able to watch other trailers without this problem, so I don't think it's my processor.

Does anyone else have this problem?

all QT7 trailers or the HD QT7 ones?

Right now, theres a newer version QT7 (7.0.3) which could fix the problem.

It's all QT7 trailers, including the ones in the Forums Exclusives here.

    It's 7.0.3 that I'm using.

forget QT7 for running .mov format (or any other)
& get MPC (Media Player Classic):

jerky picture normally happens when you don't have enough processing power. Has this always happened with QT7 or a recent development?

I doubt its QT itself but try a reinstall. What are your PC specs?

    Always with the QT7 trailers.

    My specs are:

    1.20GHz
    256MB of RAM

    Is it too slow?

yes, way too slow... if you get 4 times as much power as you have now.. that should fix the problem..

what are your video settings within QT?
DirectDraw or safe mode? DirectDraw acceleration uses more PC grunt but makes video smooth as.
