Directed by: Hans Horn
Writing by: Adam Kreutner & Collin McMahon

Plot Summary: A weekend cruise on a luxurious party yacht goes horribly wrong for a group of old high-school friends. They forget to let the ladder down before they jump into the ocean for a swim. The boat proves impossible to climb. They are stuck in the water many miles from shore, with baby Sara left alone on board. Sara's mother Amy must contend with her aqua-phobia as well as the group's increasing desperation, as the friends begin to turn on each other. Soon the exhaustion of keeping afloat and the struggle to get back on board begin to take a terrible toll. The happy reunion turns into a fight for survival...

Kinda remind you the little film called Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadow (which I think I was the only one in the world who saw it in cinema ), doesn't it?

I never saw #2 cause after almost throwing up in the theater while watching the first movie (talk about shoddy camera work), I didn't want to go through that again.

OT but...
Blair Witch 2 is essentially different than the first one. Blair Witch 1 is pseudo-doco. BW2 is plain narrative.
Open Water 2 would probably be less extreme in terms of difference compared to how BW2 is different from BW1. But you can tell from the look of the trailer, that OW2 certainly has a bigger budget than OW1, which is essentially an indie shot on DV(?).

I saw BW II too, on HBO just about two times and yes, its plain narrative in compare with first doc, but I really was scared in about two places (but dont remember them which means that movie isnt even worth watching, coz u´ll forget it in a while)
