Disney has made every effort to keep the plot and storyline of the next installment under wraps. They have gone to great lengths to make sure even early script reviews are pulled off the web.

So while we know that Captain Barbossa is teaming up with Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner in the search for Captain Jack Sparrow that will take the infamous pirate crew to the far corners of the world and we also know that new characters played by Chow Yun-Fat and others will be involved, besides that, not much else is known.

Well, kiddies, the IESB is here to reveal an addition to the cast that has been remained a secret up to this point. We have been told that 10 year old Dominic Scott Kay joined the cast earlier this year to play a younger version of one of the beloved characters, Captain Jack Sparrow, perhaps in a flashback sequence. We spoke to the young actor during a press event at the Burbank Disney lot for his upcoming straight to DVD film, Air Buddies, and asked him about his involvement in the third Pirates film.

Dominic confirmed that he is in the next Pirates film but he stated that he could not talk about his role. We tried to contact the studio for any comments this weekend but had not yet responded by the time this story was posted.

You can hear the talents of Dominic Scott Kay in the upcoming Charlotte’s Web as he helps bring to life Wilbur, that’s some pig.

Both prior Pirates films have grossed over 1.7 Billion dollars and next film, Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End, is expected to blow the competition out the water next summer on May 25th 2007.
