I heard a story that Goerge Lucas didn't decide sue them because he enjoys it as much as anyone.

No, I just said that he didn't. But the fact is something like that is, how to the call that, "copyright infringement". And it's not just about Chad Vader, but also about all the other star wars-parodies (did you ever saw that star wars story where the main characters were all vegetables).

^ Yup. It's called "Grocery Wars." That's one of the main reasons why I like George Lucas. He doesn't mind people making fanfilms, and in fact encourages it, so long as they're not making any money off of it. IMO, the Chad Vader folks have over-stepped their boundaries considerably. They're selling DVDs and other merchandise.

Hardware Wars did the same thing many, many years ago. In fact, they even came out with a SE version (though i dont know what changed in it) not that long ago, on DVD. Lucas is pretty cool about all the fans and their films. Though, when anyone steps out of bounds, im pretty sure Lucasfilm reminds them who they are.

    BTW. these are funny.

LucasFilm recently cracked down on a company that was selling unofficial Stormtrooper armor. It was pretty big news in the Star Wars community. I doubt that they would prosecute the Chad fellows, though, because it's small beans really.
