How to burn DVD with Nero

I'm having problems writing a dvd-video using Nero, I've ripped several short vob files (25 min each) on my HD, I've got for each vob a ifo file and a "stream information" txt file. I'm using one of the latest Nero's under Vista ultimate. I select DVD-Video to burn and place the vob and ifo files in the VIDEO_TS folder, but every time I try to burn it Nero gives following warning: "unknown burnphase, the following compilation might be unplayable", when I continue it follows up with a burn error.
What to do?

Are you trying to burn these to an HD dvd? You might want to convert them to DVD using a different program, I use WinAvi, and that usually gets the job done with converting the files, although I have had the same problem as you occasionally.

They don't need conversion, it's just some vob files I've ripped from the DVD using DVDdecrypter, now I'm trying to burn them on a simple DVD (no HD dvd) but it doesn't work.
