Um, no, I'm not going to reschedule my trip just so I can watch a TV show, even if it is the season premiere of my favorite show. There is a chance that I can get there before Smallville comes on, so I can watch it that night. But that is slim.

I have been looking forward to that weekend for a year (and I already have next year's on my calendar... last Saturday in September). Granted, my wife and I are adding a day and turning it into a mini-vacation (the only one we will get this year). But I have only known the date of the Smallville premiere for a couple of months, so this other event takes precedence. First come, first served.

Laura Vandervoort Signed To Star In A New Movie
Laura Vandervoort (Kara) has signed to star in the upcoming film sequel Into The Blue 2.

Laura plays part of a married couple hired as professional divers to search for Columbus' hidden treasure. Her husband will be played by Chris Carmack from the Smallville episode "Recruit." Also starring in the film is Audrina Patridge of The Hills.

Filming is expected to start very soon.
