Its a fantasy show, kinda Lord of the rings style, based off a popular series of books.

Comes out Nov 1 and im pretty psyched to see it.

Anyone else lookin forward to it?

The movie was called The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising, IMDB HERE.
There's also a post HERE and it is on the main page HERE as well. The storyline was a little thin, with a kid (The seeker) needing to find items in order to keep the DARK FORCES where they belong. It was not exactly a LOR type movie, it looked geared more towards the pre-teen side, or family viewing.
Regardless, I found it interesting and I dont think it was a really bad movie, just a little drawn out at times, but I did get the made for TV feel in it, so this would be appropriate.

so, I saw third episode yesterday ... and its like Hercules, or Xena ... simply Raimi production. It has lots of slow-motion moments - like kickin some a__, bullet-time (or more likely arrow-time) and one of main characters is the most ridiculous wizard I´ve ever seen. The Seeker story is pretty simple - he´s the chosen one and he has to kill some gangsta king who´s bad. so he travels the land, but he has to seek evil and fight it everywhere he goes ... or something like that.
The main plus of this show for me is exteriors - imo its shot in New Zealand - or at least it looks like that - and that itself gives it great feeling. Tricks are cheap, but are used often, so its a good fun.
Well, its a stupid story with cheap dialogs and all that ... but I kinda like it.
