    I actually think if they would've done 3 films instead of 2 for the sequels, things could've been better explained. Pirates 3 was 2 hours and 50 minutes long and it still felt like they crammed a bunch of story into a small movie. If they would've given it more time and fleshed things out a bit more, people wouldn't have been as confused.
