Seinfeld!!

For the last 3 months, I've been bringing home DVDs of Seinfeld starting with the PILOT and then Season 1, Episode 1.

Yesterday, I finally watched the final episode of the final season (#9)!!

I seen many sitcoms in my lifetime:

from the early ones when I first came to the USA like Happy Days and Three's Company and Mash to Family Ties and Growing Pains and Night Court and Cheers to Married with Children and The Simpsons to Friends, etc etc

I have to say and I know some people may not agree,

Seinfeld is the BEST sitcom I ever seen!!

The way those 4 neurotic, self centered, selfish, losers can make a big thing out of nothing week in and week out for 9 years is just Hilarious!!

Plus they are never happy!

For instance, Jerry has some of the best looking girlfriends any sitcom character ever had but he always found something wrong with them:

she has man hands, she eats her peas one at a time, she's a virgin, she won't give me a massage, she has fake breasts, etc etc

How many here think Seinfeld is the best sitcom you ever seen?

My 10 favorite Seinfeld episodes ever:

1. The Soup Nazi S7 E6
2. The Contest S4 E11
3. The Implant S4 E19 with Teri Hatcher
4. The Chinese Restaurant S2 E11
5. The Stall S5 E12 with Jami Gertz
6. The Sponge S7 E9
7. The Hamptons S5 E20 (the shrinkage episode!!)
8. The Lip Reader S5 E6
9. The Limo S3 E19
10. The Parking Garage S3 E6

Of course most of the other 174 episodes are equally good; there are so many good ones to choose from!!

When George's fiancee died, Man! That took me by surprise and for George and Jerry and Kramer and Elaine to just shrug it off and say:

"Let's go get coffee"

WOW!

Total Comedy Genius!!

And by the way, they're real- and they're spectacular.

I'll be honest, I have a hard time getting into any sitcom that has a living room couch as the main set (which, I realize, is 90% of sitcoms). That isn't to say I haven't watched Seinfeld, or that I haven't liked some episodes, but it really isn't my thing (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Although to answer your question, I'd have to say that "The Parking Garage" is probably my favorite Seinfeld episode.

One of the all time great sitcoms in my opinion. One of my favorites is "The Opposite" when George does the opposite of his normal instincts.
