Nominations for Trailer Survivor 4

JP gave an estimate of February as the time for TS4, so I thought I'd start a nomination thread.

The Rules:

1) No more than 5 trailers nominated

2) Be specific as to which trailer you are nominating (i.e. teaser, TV spot, trailer...)

3) Remember the focus needs to be on the trailers NOT the movies themselves.

My Nominations:

1) "Solaris" Full Trailer - This gave us a very good look into the movie and without revealing too much. Showed us several elements to appeal to a broad range of audiences from the romance to the sleak space shots

2) "Final Destination 2" Teaser - Yes the idea for the movie is stupid, but this teaser (which I saw attached to Star Trek: Nemesis) made me freaked out to drive on a freeway for a few hours

3) "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" Teaser - The teaser has great music

4) "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" Full Trailer - Gotta nominate this one especially with the remix of Requiem For a Dream and the careful edited sequences. Also doesn't reveal too many secrets.

5) "Russian Ark" Trailer - The orchestra backing plays well with the constantly moving camera shots

Hmmm. This is hard. I guess the best way to do it is pick the first 5 that come to mind...

1/ The Matrix Reloaded
2/ Star Wars Ep2 (Breathing)
3/ Phone Booth (trailer)
4/ T3 teaser - it was simple and plain but it just did something for me.
5/ Comedian teaser (the one with the movie voice guy)

I know LotR is getting in one way or another soo....:big grin:
