    Ocean's Eleven Sequel

    http://www.comingsoon.net

Entertainment Weekly spoke to producer Jerry Weintraub who says the Ocean's Eleven sequel script should be ready for director Steven Soderbergh near the end of next year (2003), promising "George and Matt and Don Cheadle and the whole gang will be back."

It was announced earlier this year that Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures had tapped Ted Griffin to write the sequel. His script for the first film gave enough edge and coolness to the stale Rat Pack original that it enticed the team to make the new film.
huh?... well anyway the 1st movie was an open ending... and was well made

I have read about upcoming Ocean's Twelve around year ago. After 2 flopped films Soderbergh will direct it, because it certainly will be hit.

I really liked the original, so hopefully this one will be just as good.

Don't the characters have all the money they would ever need after robbing the casino? Why do they need to risk doing another job? ;o

That's up the scriptwright to come up with the answer, my young friend.

    Talking

Tisoy is right. It did leave for anything to happen, but it is really not needed.

I prefer to see an original film more than another remake or sequel, but people in Hollywood really have crisis of new ideas. So they will continue to do remakes and sequels because their brains are full of fat and they can't create something fresh and new. Soderbergh's movies were at least something original in beginning, but look at his latest: Full Frontal is sequel to his own old movie, and Solaris is remake of Soviet film. Last year he also produced Naqoyqatsi - the sequel and Insomnia - the remake of Scandinavian film. So I'm not wondering that he is going to do another Ocean's 11.

Someone's a little bitter about no more firefly, methinks. But hey, at least Fox still does 24.

    http://www.latinoreview.com/
Over the weekend I had a chance to sit and meet George Clooney in a press conference with some other reporters while in NYC promoting his upcoming romantic comedy INTOLERABLE CRUELTY. He did get to mention when Oceans 12 will start and where.
