I can't stop watching the latest trailer.
All the additional monologue really makes it feel more and more like a real Mad Max film.

This trailer really captures the embodiment of Miller's work so far.
So great to see Toecutter play Immortal Joe.

    Immortal Joe vs. Bane!

I think it's a true and accurate reflection of the original, or as much as can be done with the improved safety standards. The new trailer details more of all the elements and quirks which made the original stand out.
I mean seriously, what other movie can get away with an electric guitar flamethrower and a drum set in the back of some medieval apocalyptic world vehicle!!!!!

This 2nd trailer looks better than the first but I can spot the scenes where they obviously CGI everything in the background.

Please remember that most trailers are made of available material prior to the completed product. so no trailer is a true reflection of the official release.
Further, everybody knows that movies of this nature are CG heavy, but so was "Star Wars", didn't make it a stinker even though some of the effects were marginal at best.

This is a "Sit and enjoy the ride" type deal, anyone picking at details, looking for bloopers, or even considering the thought of a realistic storyline, should definitely avoid this one like the plague.

It's a fun movie, nothing more.

I love the legacy trailer. My older brother had them all on VHS.

Got the steelbox trilogy that came out recently (Warner Bros 2013 set; not the upcoming Shout! Factory re-release). I should start them up and go through them again.

Got that one when it came out, EXCELLENT.
Shout!/Scream Factory stuff is OK quality main feature wise, but the Special Features are usually crappy and un-restored, if nothing else up-converted which is even worse.
Unfortunately, they do have dibs on some stuff that will probably never get released by anyone else in North America.
