Wow!!! The writer of a majority of the Babylon 5 TV series doing a rewrite for the next spiderman movie. It should be really good if this is true.

More news (from www.filmforce.ign.com):
Molina as Doc Ock?
From a Ladies Man to a super-villain?
February 10, 2003 - According to Ain't It Cool News, British thesp Alfred Molina has been offered the role of the villainous "Dr. Octopus" in The Amazing Spider-Man (a.k.a. Spider-Man 2). Molina may be best known to American audiences for his TV series Ladies Man and Bram and Alice. His big-screen credits include Frida, Dudley Do Right, Boogie Nights, Species, The Perez Family, Ladyhawke and Raiders of the Lost Ark. (AICN reminds us that Molina played the "You throw me the idol! I throw you the whip!" guy in Raiders.)
Spidey producer Laura Ziskin did not reply to IGN FilmForce's request for confirmation or denial of this rumor. Read into that what you will.
SpiderVillain.com reminds us that Dr. Otto Octavius was "a brilliant atomic researcher who designed and constructed a chest harness to which four artificial tentacle-like arms were attached. This harness enabled him to manipulate radioactive substances from a safe distance. In a freak laboratory accident, the scientist was bombarded with radiation. The accident bonded his harness to his skin and nervous system and drove the scientist criminally insane. Octavius found that he could control his arm mentally rather than by the mechanical controls. Calling himself by his laboratory nickname, 'Doctor Octopus' has tried to amass wealth and power through a variety of criminal activities. After many defeats at Spider-Man's hands, Doctor Octopus activities have expanded to include destroying the wall-crawler as well."
The Amazing Spider-Man begins filming later this year for a summer 2004 release. Sam Raimi will once again direct with Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco reprising their roles from the first film.

Molina's a good call. As for a finished script, great! start filming this sucker so we can get some trailers! oh yeah, a movie would be nice too.
Are you a Mexi-CAN or a Mexi-CAN'T?

Doc Oc will make a good vilain, in fact, one of the best s-m vilain after Carnage and Venom. I think Molina will fit in the role, not more, not less. And I'm shy to say that I didn't watch any episode of Babylone 5.... So can't say if it's a good or a bad news...
