Here is how the mind reader works:

It uses a mathematical logic. Look at these numbers: 0, 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81 (or 9 times x, where x = 0,1,...9.). They all have the same symbol in front of them. Each time you click TRY AGAIN, the symbols change, but again all those numbers have the same symbol. With the mathematic operations the program asks you to perform (quote: "choose ant two digit number, add together both digits and the substract the total from your original number) the end result is ALWAYS a number "9 times 0 --> 9". So every time the symbol that you "think" of is the symbol in front of 0, 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81.

i remember doing something similar to that in my highschool maths class its like the card trick where you put 5 cards on the table... tell a group of people to pick a card... take the cards back.. and put 5 different cards out.. then you can say "the card you picked isnt on the table!"
