    Exclamation Apple fixed they trailers!!!

    i know it's a new thread about this but i made it so that really no one misses it

    i just visit apple-trailers and there where some new trailers :big grin: and i ad little hope on the quality but surprise the quality is much better now. interlacing is gone and they are using sorenson 3 again even the trailers with the horrible quality like 2 fast 2 furouis where fixed. seams that the folks at apple had listen to our emails

    thought you wanna know this

    these are the ones that had been fixed yet

    the order
    2 fast 2 furious
    the incredibles

    i hope that the others getting also be fixed.

    I think I need to clarify what bender means (cos I didn't get it in the first place):

    While Apple has added a new batch of trailers (encoded with good old Sorenson this time), they also 'fixed' the poor-quality problem by replacing the MPEG-4 trailers of The Order, 2 fast 2 furious, Seabiscuit & The Incredibles with Sorenson versions.

    At time of writing the only two trailers still in shite-quality MPEG-4 are "The Cuckoo" & "The Boss's Daughter". (Since they're 'arthouse' flicks they're hardly likely to be Sorenson-ed.)

    Meanwhile Animated Angels #4 is 'fixed' with Sorenson versions, but Fullscreen is once again not available. (My bet is that fullscreen version for ep 3 & 4 are slim.)

    Soooo, maybe complaining DOES work after all...

    Nothing says it wasn't an interlaced source. It only says they finally inverse telecined it.

    Maybe you should work at Apple, then you could prevent this from happen

    Well maybe not the time of writing, but all the MPEG-4 trailers @ Apple are now replaced with better-quality Sorenson versions. (Except there's still no sign of Animated Angels #4 in fullscreen Soreson. But then I reckon even the Apple people think that it sucks and not deserve a fullscreen treatment...)

    i pity apple.. they try to experiment and get flamed :S ahh well.. at least the trailers are back in sorensen .. should keep most happy
