Just got off the phone with CS and they gave me some crap about "we only price match pre-orders within 30 days" bull.
It didn't work with me and I did get my credit, but just a heads up that they might try to scam you out of the credit.

They are seriously starting to piss me off with their failing business in Canada.

Thank you @Jacques1400 for the notification I just called and got $7.00 credited back to my credit cart. The women was pleasant enough and was surprised that there was not an automatic price adjustment. But she did keep claiming that she could not find the steel book and claimed it looked like it was taken down; then wanted the Web Code: M2226998. She then had to call a manager or someone for help and put me on hold for 2 mins but it was taken care of bottom line I got my credit.

But as you stated Best Buy Canada is truly doing its best to anger loyal customers with their failing business in Canada; the loss of another major retail chain in Canada is not something I am wishing for but seems to be more likely as time goes on with them.
