Joker wasn't part of the DCEU as it's not connected to the others and (hopefully) will be a one-off. WB's complete lack of steelbooks lately would be the bigger reason we likely wouldn't see one for BOP. Curious if it has anything to do with them ditching bilingual covers.

Yeah I just read that the Joaquin Phoenix Joker was said to exist in what was being touted as the 'DC Dark' or 'DC Black' universe and Jared Leto Suicide Squad Joker is the DCEU. If we do not see Bird Of Prey steelbook it possibly might have something to do with WB's ditching bilingual covers; I read that Disney seems to be the only one offering bilingual covers for Canadian steelbook releases. Maybe this might also be why we missed out on so many steelbook titles like Pokémon Detective Pikachu, The Curse of La Llorona, Godzilla King of the Monsters, IT Chapter 2 and Doctor Sleep. Seeing how I cannot find an article to confirm this I do not know; but looking at the Disney/PIXAR re-releases with bilingual J-covers they look atrocious.
