Problem with burned CD's
Hi,
I've been downloading your trailers for about two months,
and have just tried to burn them to a CD. Of the 20 that I burned,
about 10 won't open/play(they play just fine on my hard drive),
from the CD. Every time I attempt to play one of these 10,
my system hangs and I have to cycle power. A few of them were-Alien, Aliens, Rightstuff.
Are some of the trailers encoded as to not allow playback
from a CD? Or is there another issue involved here?
Thanks for any help,
tkmops

Do you have a DVD player? If so, check if it can play Video CDs (VCD). If yes, put into the drive and enjoy. Works for me.

What speed is the cd drive?
Maybe the drive can't keep up with the bitrate of the trailers...?

Thanks for the possible fixes. I've burned 3 CD's, but only about
10 of the trailers on one of the CD's won't play. My CD player(32X)
plays all the other trailers just fine, and my DVD player doesn't
recognize this disk. Maybe the disk is defective? I'll try re-burning it and see what happens.

defective disc would be my guess.

Your DVD player also needs to recognize CD-RWs and CD-R.

but a dvd player wont play simply PC files... QT files are not playable with DVd players..
u need to convert them to mpeg2 or VCD/SVCD formats
