The pivotal fourth novel in the seven-part tale of Harry Potter's training as a wizard and his coming of age. Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup with Hermione, Ron, and the Weasleys. He wants to dream about Cho Chang, his crush (and maybe do more than dream). He wants to find out about the mysterious event that's supposed to take place at Hogwarts this year, an event involving two other rival schools of magic, and a competition that hasn't happened for a hundred years. He wants to be a normal, fourteen-year-old wizard. Unfortunately for Harry Potter, he's not normal, even by wizarding standards. And in his case, different can be deadly.

...can't wait to see it! i'm a great Harry Potter fan shhhh!
-
Gosh, they're growing up fast. Can't wait .. Can't wait.
And I'm proud to be a fan. I think the books and the movies are terrific.
I got in an arguement with a woman at the gas station a year or so ago. She was going on and on about how horrible the Harry Potter books were, and that they were straight from the devil. I asked her if she had read any of the books, or for that matter seen any of the movies. She said she wouldn't dare .. they were evil. :big grin: Good grief. I told her that until she did she had no right to express opinions about the content or the evilness of the works...that only fools and idiots condemned works that they knew nothing about. I'm not sure she could read.

Yeah, I haven't found too many people who have read or seen the movies that think that Harry Potter is "evil".
Did find one person who claims she read the first book and thought it was a "cookbook of magic", and refused to have anything to do with Harry after that. She is the one exception.
Despite the fact that I am not much into the whole fantasy genre (I am one of the few who didn't like Fellowship of the Rings movie or the LOTR books), I really enjoy the Harry Potter series. Of course, I am looking forward to the sixth book more than I am to the fourth movie, but that is just me.

Harry Potter Rocks!!!
I can not wait untill the next ones comes out, the few images that are coming out look quite good. I only became a Harry Potter fan this year, I used to think that it was all a bit out of it and that it had to do alot with black magic. I saw the films and I did but I did not like them, but them I started to read the books and then I began to like it. Now I am only half way through the 4th book but I can now say I am a huge fan and will be geting all rest of the book, I already have the 5 out at the mo, and I will be seeing and geting all the films.

I love the books and so far the movies too. I can't wait until the new book and movie come out!
-
I to love to see another movie come and keep em coming. Great entertainment.

Curious poster... dunno if I like it or not. Maybe because it doesn't look like much work was put into it... I mean I could've whipped this up in Photoshop in 5 minutes.
Azkaban really brought the series of movies to another level, and I really wish that Cuaron had agreed to do this next one too. Instead, we've got the guy who did Mona Lisa Smile... I dunno about that.Last edited by Shrubz; 03-16-2005 at 05:46 PM.

Yea the Prisoner of Azkaban was quite good, the one thing that got me about it was that they cut so much out of it that was in the book, if they had keep a few of them things it would have made the film that little bit better.

I am lookingofrward to this one. I like how the films are getting a little "darker" each time. The latest, Azkaban has been my favorite so far. I thought the director did a great job.

GoF Trailer
WB have confirmed that the trailer for the Goblet of Fire will be out between the end of March and the end of April but this is all they have said about it. Now which movie will be coming out with, there are quiet a few coming out about that time so it could be one of many. What do you all think?

This movie can't come out soon enough. I love the movies and I love the books even more. Anxiously awaiting 'The Half Blood Prince' - have had my copy preordered since December.
