(new) browser - Mozilla Firebird (0.6.1). CHECK IT OUT!
http://www.mozilla.org/
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/
just try this browser & I must say that this is really good on 'first touch'. really easy one. installation no needed, just extrack ZIPed directory onto HardDisk, make shortcut for EXE file. also IE Favourites are there (even not needed to import). blocks pop-up's. CTRL +/- to make bigger fonts/screen... nice, gonna try to use this one now (insted IE6).
Find out why people everywhere are switching to Firebird.

"...Firebird is likely to soar past IE"
I've been feeling guilty since then.
EDIT:
Amazing. The built-in download resume capability is what I really needed.
Note that for Flash and Shockwave plug-ins, I had to install these registry entries, from Mozilla's website.Last edited by amr.ramadan; 09-18-2003 at 06:01 PM.

update: Mozilla Firebird 0.7
-
I've moved a while ago to Mozilla 1.4, the full featured not the simpler FireBird.
Features wise, it has lots more. The only downside is the slower load time. But this can be improved by an option to leave a portion of the program in memory all the time!

trying it out now, looks very nice

For Mozilla 1.4 (not FireBird)
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ADMINISTRATOR\APPLICATION DATA\Mozilla\Profiles\defaultIt is not enough 'I succeed'. Everyone else must fail.

Mozilla's web browser since 2003
This thread proves that from years ago, since 2003, there was interest on ML for Mozilla projects. And due to ZUBi.
The lastest version of Mozilla Firefox is 1.5.0.7 and is available for download here.
Also from Mozilla:
- Thunderbird 1.5 e-mail client page
- The Sunbird Project (on work), calendar application (info, download)
- The Lightning Project (on work), to integrate Sunbird into Thunderbird (info, download)

I am using FireFox even Thunderbird (viz my signature) and must admit that both are far better than any Microsoft programs. Have my FF full of plugins which I couldnt even imagine browsing without. Always when I am at another PC then mine, first I ask - how am I supposed to work with this nothing?
